Protect Your Cabinets Without Sacrificing Style

Why Choose Powder Coating?

Protection for Years to Come

Gorilla Garage Gear is proud to partner with Redline Garagegear, the best name in powder coated technology, to offer you the highest quality powder coated wood garage cabinets on the market.

Finishes are intended to protect surfaces from corrosion and environmental damage, and powder coating is one the highest performing and longest lasting finishes available. Unlike liquid paint, powder coating is applied as a dry powder with no solvents, creating a hard and incredibly durable finish. It will provide years of protection with no chipping, fading, peeling or scratching, making it the ideal choice for use as a protective coating on garage cabinets.

We offer 12 powder coated garage cabinet colors to match your style and taste. Simply use soap and water to wipe away dust and debris and enjoy cabinets that will remain fresh and look new for years to come!

The Powder Coating Process

“Powder coating is a dry finishing process that uses a mixture of pigment and resin. The mixture is electro-statically charged and sprayed on to the part (above), and heated in an oven. The powder gels and flows, bonding with the part and creating a seamless finish that is attractive, durable and is highly resistant to chemicals.”

Redline Cabinets - Quality Assured

Redline Garagegear cabinets are designed specifically for the garage environment down to the last detail, and the finish is no exception. Powder coating creates a durable finish that won’t fade over time and is resistant to temperature extremes, humidity, chemicals, spills and heavy use. And unlike liquid paint, powder coating does not require a solvent, and contains no heavy metals, solvents or VOCs.

Powder coating was once only used for metal parts and surfaces. Redline Garagegear perfected the use of powder coating on MDF (medium density fiberboard) in a unique, environmentally friendly, patented process.

What Separates Us From the Rest

During the powder coating process, dry powder is shot through an electrostatic gun on to the surface of the cabinets in a fast and easy application. Once the powder coating has reached the desired thickness and texture, the cabinet pieces are put into an oven to cure, resulting in a smooth, hard finish.

Unlike most other garage cabinet manufacturers, Redline Garagegear does not use inventory or stock parts. All powder coating is done in-house in the USA so they maintain complete control over the quality and consistency of the finish. Your entire order will be powder coated in the same batch to ensure a perfect color match.
